The cool, dewy blue-green of an unripe plum, drawn from Meiziqing—the most prized celadon of the Song Dynasty's Longquan kilns. Fresh and luminous, it holds the vitality of early summer and the serenity of a still mountain stream. Its depth is built from layered iron-bearing glaze fired in reduction, applied thick so the light refracts through the body itself, lending the surface that soft, jade-like translucency the old masters prized above gold.
